Preparation, built into your hockey week
Weekly inspection, sharpening and return.
Your player's setup, documented.
The weekly routine
EDGE's team-bag system gives each player a numbered slot. Your team receives a pickup and return plan before service starts.
Use your usual setup. Tell us your hollow and anything that feels different.
Place your sets of steel in your assigned EDGE slot at the scheduled collection.
EDGE inspects the steel, confirms the setup and prepares it at the Rosemont hub.
Collect your steel at the confirmed return time. Your service record stays in the EDGE portal.
Exact pickup times and turnaround will be coordinated by team, including travel weeks.
What happens to your steel
EDGE combines the Elite E-S4 with technician oversight. The hollow, edge check and service history all belong to the same process.
Review the sets of steel for wear, damage and differences that deserve attention.
Use the documented hollow and steel reference instead of relying on memory.
Prepare the steel on the E-S4, check edge symmetry and complete the finishing work.
Log service history and technician notes. Track both sets when a player rotates steel.
Already using Sparx? EDGE starts with the hollow you know. Our technician checks the steel before sharpening, verifies the edges afterward and records the service.
A familiar hockey week
Wednesday practice / weekend travel / two sets of steel
If your player rotates two sets of steel, keeping track of which set was sharpened last can become one more job before a tournament weekend. A pro-shop trip still has to fit somewhere between practice and leaving town.
With EDGE's scheduled pickup, both sets go in the team bag. A technician checks them against the same player record and returns them at the agreed time. You can see what was serviced, and your player has a documented setup to come back to.

Girls, you're next.12U, 14U, 16U and 19U follow one to two weeks after the boys' launch. Their service dates and membership options will be announced separately.
Your player record
Your player portal holds your team, hollow and service history. Portal signup is separate from membership payment.
If you already have a player account, sign in rather than creating another. Creating a portal account does not purchase a membership.
Before you leave your steel
Yes. Keep your team and preferred hollow in your player profile so EDGE can follow your setup. Choose “Not sure” if you do not know the hollow. Existing account holders should sign in rather than create a duplicate. Purchase your membership separately on the 1-Set or 2-Set product page.
Membership includes weekly inspection and preparation for the player's selected one- or two-set option, with team pickup and return. Sharpening follows the player's documented setup. Profiling and new steel are not included.
The package is intended to run through the Illinois State Championship service period; EDGE will confirm the final covered pickup before paid enrollment. Districts, nationals and any later games are not included in the price. EDGE will confirm an extension separately for teams that need it.
EDGE starts with the player's existing setup and documented preferences. Discuss any requested changes with the technician. Profiling is a separately priced service using the Elite E-P3.
Pickup and return need to follow each team's actual ice and travel calendar. The final offer will name the covered service weeks and explain rescheduled or missed pickups. Do not assume an unattended bag drop is a confirmed collection.
Confirm equipment compatibility and your team's service arrangement with EDGE before enrolling. The standard team-bag workflow described here is for removable sets of steel.
The next paid pickup is Tuesday, October 13. Choose and purchase your membership before that pickup to continue. Review billing, refund, injury and cancellation terms on the product page before paying.
One set is $13 per week or $265 upfront. Two sets are $19 per week or $390 upfront. Both options include the same service. Prepaying is optional. Select your payment option and review the covered service weeks on the product page.
The player record holds setup details, sharpening history and technician notes, so each service has context. The two-set plan keeps both sets under the same player record.
